$3000 COSBOA grant (micro Victorian businesses)

”DOING IT TOUGH” GRANT (Victorian micro businesses only)
The Council of Small Business Organisations Australia (COSBOA) is providing a “Doing it Tough” $3,000 grant for micro-businesses and sole traders based in Victoria. Unfortunately, applications are only limited to small businesses in Victoria who have not received any COVID-related government support since June 2021. Grants are not automatically provided by meeting the eligibility but will be selected from the information in their application process, including a 300 words statement on how they are 'doing it tough'.

Eligibility

Have an valid ABN

Have a business address within Victoria

Be a sole trader or micro business (have 3 employees or less) and turnover of less than $75,000

Have not received any government support funds neither as a business nor an individual since 1 June 2021
Nominated finalists will be required to provide further information including,

2020 or 2021 tax return or a BAS indicating an annual turnover of less than $75,000

Payroll report or similar verifying 3 or fewer employees

Applicants may further be asked to verify spending within 6 months and provide a description of how funds assisted their business
Applications are open now until 5 pm on 11 October 2021.
